What happens to my data?
Nothing — it never leaves your browser. The code is generated entirely on your device. Especially with Wi-Fi passwords and IBANs, that's the big difference from many other generators.
How do I create a QR code for my Wi-Fi?
Choose the "Wi-Fi" type at the top, enter the network name and password, download the code and put it up — guests scan it with their camera and are connected. You'll find a detailed guide at the Wi-Fi QR code generator.
Can I add a logo to the QR code?
Yes — just upload a PNG, JPG or SVG. The generator makes room in the middle for your logo and automatically raises the error correction, so the code still scans reliably.
How long is the QR code valid?
That depends on the type: codes with fixed content (Wi-Fi, vCard, GiroCode) work permanently — the content sits right in the code, with no server or subscription. Link codes (PayPal, WhatsApp, Google) stay valid as long as the linked service exists.
Which file formats do I get?
PNG at 512 to 4096 pixels (also with a transparent background) for documents, WhatsApp and the web — and SVG as a vector file that can be printed at any size. You can also copy the code straight to the clipboard.
Why is my QR code hard to scan?
Usually the colors are too pale, the print too small or the light border is missing. The generator warns you automatically about problematic colors. Rule of thumb for printing: at least 2 × 2 cm, a dark code on a light background.
What's the difference from a DriveID?
Here you create codes with fixed content. A DriveID is a point of contact: whoever scans it reaches you by call or message — without your number becoming visible. You can change channels anytime, the code stays the same.
