Right of Withdrawal

Consumers are entitled to the following right of withdrawal. A consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, take(s) possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us —

by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached Model Withdrawal Form for this, although it is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

You can also declare your withdrawal via our online withdrawal function at silentlink.de/en/vertrag-widerrufen. If you make use of this option, we will promptly send you (e.g. by email) a confirmation of receipt of such a withdrawal.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs arising from your choice of a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), promptly and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive the notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we use the same means of payment that you used in the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

We may refuse reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us promptly and in any case at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day period. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You only have to pay for any loss of value of the goods if this loss of value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary to check their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Expiry of the right of withdrawal upon activation

Note for your safety: The contact codes of returned products are permanently blocked upon receipt of the return and not reissued.

Voluntary extended right of return (30 days)

In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, we grant you a voluntary right of return of 30 days from receipt of the goods. It applies to products that have not been activated and arrive at us complete and undamaged. To exercise it, a clear declaration to info@silentlink.de and the return of the goods to the address stated above are sufficient; you bear the direct costs of the return. The value of the returned products is refunded; any outbound shipping costs of the original order are not refunded within the scope of the voluntary right of return. The refund is made via the means of payment used for the order.

Your statutory rights — in particular the statutory right of withdrawal and the statutory warranty — remain unaffected by this voluntary right of return and apply in full alongside it.

Tier prices and shipping costs for partial returns

Volume tier prices (e.g. the discount in the 2-pack or 3-pack) are tied to the respective quantity ordered. If you return part of an order — within the scope of the statutory withdrawal or the voluntary right of return — and the tier condition is thereby no longer met, we recalculate the purchase price of the retained products at the tier price applicable to the retained quantity. The difference between the amount paid and this recalculated price is refunded.

The same applies to the free shipping threshold of €30: if the order was delivered free of shipping and the value of the retained products falls below this threshold due to the partial return, we offset the regular standard shipping costs that would have been incurred for the retained order against the refund amount. Outbound shipping costs already paid are not refunded in the case of a partial return, since delivery would have taken place for the retained products anyway; in the case of a complete withdrawal, we of course refund the outbound shipping costs in accordance with the statutory rules (see “Consequences of withdrawal”).

Example: You order the 3-pack for €49.98 (free shipping) and return two products. For the retained product, the single price of €24.99 applies; since this value is below the free shipping threshold, the regular standard shipping costs are additionally offset. If you return one of three products, the 2-pack tier price (€44.98) applies to the retained two — the order remains free of shipping, and €5.00 is refunded.
