Does the card replace the emergency call?
No. In an emergency, always call 112 first. The card additionally helps first responders reach your relatives and learn important things about you.
What if I lose the card or leave it at home?
That's the weakness of any paper card. Something you wear on your body is more reliably with you in an emergency — more on the RescueID below.
