Solution · Factory-Fitted Lost & Found
Make your product impossible to lose.
Your products are out in the world — and out there, they sometimes get lost. The honest finder is usually there; what's missing is the short way back to the owner. A factory-fitted lost & found function builds that way in directly: the finder scans QR or NFC, your customer is reached anonymously — entirely under your brand, with the platform behind it run by us.
- from €0.49
- per unit, one-time
- 0 €
- monthly fee, setup, contract
- 2 min
- activation for your customers, no app
- factory-fitted
- QR printed on or NFC integrated
Why a feature, not a gadget
A tracker locates. Your brand brings it back.
Bluetooth trackers locate for the owner — but they don't enable the finder to act, cost double-digit euros per unit and need a battery and an app. For integration into a product line, that's too expensive and too fragile.
A QR/NFC contact function costs cents, works with any smartphone worldwide, needs neither a battery nor an app — and is exactly what counts when something is lost: a way for the honest finder back to your customer. And every return is a brand experience no advertising budget can buy.
- Cents per unit instead of double-digit tracker prices
- Worldwide, no app, no battery
- Every return carries your brand — “it came back, because of you”
How it works
Integrated. Activated. Brought back.
No software, no IT project — you integrate the codes, we run the platform.
-
Step 01
Integrated at the factory.
You print the QR codes yourself (zero hardware cost) or we supply NFC tags from approx. €0.30 each — in the label, tag or housing, entirely in your branding.
-
Step 02
Activated by the customer.
Scan the QR, enter an email, done — two minutes, no app. The activation page carries your brand, not ours.
-
Step 03
Connected when it's lost.
The finder scans, your customer is reached anonymously right away — with the found location and a direct reply channel. The product comes home, and the story belongs to your brand.

Frequently asked questions
The lost & found function — in brief.
Do we have to integrate software?
No. You only apply the code or NFC tag to your product — the platform behind it, from activation to relay, is ours to run. Nothing arrives that your team would have to roll out or maintain.
QR or NFC — which is better?
QR is ready to go immediately and needs no hardware. NFC feels more premium and survives any surface — from approx. €0.30 each, encoded by you or delivered ready-encoded. The obvious path: start with QR and add NFC in the premium line. There's a detailed decision guide in the magazine: QR code or NFC in the product?.
Who owns the customer data?
Your customers' contact details sit GDPR-compliant on servers in Germany and the EU and are used solely for the relay — never passed on to third parties. The data-processing agreement in the master contract governs the details.
Does it pay off?
The integration costs cents per unit; the brand value of a return is far higher. The lost & found calculator weighs the two against each other.
The product behind it
This function is called OEM integration.
The solution on this page is SilentLink's OEM integration — a factory-fitted contact function on the same relay infrastructure that carries our consumer products every day.
On the product page you'll find the four integration paths, the build-vs-buy calculation, the path to a pilot and all the terms.
- Four integration paths: label, tag, engraving, NFC
- Fully in your brand — activation and finder page
- Pilot from 100 units, per unit only, with no ongoing costs
