The tag for your keyring: whoever finds your keys scans them with their phone camera and messages you. You find out where they are straight away — while your address and name stay invisible. No app, and without the keys ever revealing which door they open.

„I lost my keys on the way home. Two hours later a WhatsApp came in from a finder — he'd simply scanned the QR code. Everyone should have something like this.“ Hubert M. · Verified purchase · All voices
What's included & how to attach
1× KeyID to attach to your keyring, 1× activation card with your personal code, quick-start guide. Hang it on your keyring, scan the code, choose your channel — ready to go in under two minutes, no app.
Does my address really stay secret?
Yes. There's nothing about you on the tag — no name, no address, no number. Whoever scans it reaches you through SilentLink and learns neither who you are nor which door the keys open. You decide what you say and where you meet.
What's the difference between the KeyID and the RescueID?
The KeyID hangs on your keyring and brings lost things back. The RescueID comes as a wristband or pendant and is meant for emergencies: through it, helpers reach your family. Same technology, different jobs. Everything about the KeyID.
Anonymous by principle
An address tag on your keys would be an instruction manual. The KeyID is the opposite.
With keys, a special rule applies: the more they reveal about you, the less you can afford to lose them. That's why the classic tag with your name and address rightly stays on the stationery shop shelf — and why lost-property offices are full of keyrings no one can trace to an owner.
The KeyID unties exactly that knot: there's nothing on the tag — no name, no address, not even a city. Whoever scans it reaches you through SilentLink, and you decide what you reveal and where you meet. Your keyring becomes contactable, without ever giving away where it belongs.
How it works
Scan. Message. Returned.
Three steps between the finder and your phone — none of them reveals which door your keys open.
-
Step 01
The scan shows the keyring — not you.
The phone camera opens a lean page with whatever you've set, for example "4 keys, red fob". The finder knows straight away they've got the right ones — and learns nothing more.
-
Step 02
SilentLink relays — anonymously.
Their message travels to you encrypted via servers in Germany and the EU. No name, no address, no number goes along for the ride.
-
Step 03
You arrange the handover.
Via WhatsApp, email or optionally SMS — with the find location as a map link. Replies travel back through SilentLink, and if it needs to be quick, the finder can call you directly — relayed through SilentLink, on the Premium plan.
Works with any smartphone — the finder needs neither an app nor an account.
Scan ≈ 00:02 min · find location by GPS · address stays invisible

Our answers
Frequently asked questions about the KeyID.
When will the KeyID be available?
Why not just a tag with your name and address?
Because keys plus an address are a bad combination — everyone feels it, which is why classic address tags rightly go unused on keyrings. The KeyID solves the dilemma: the finder reaches you instantly but learns neither who you are nor which door your keys open.
What does someone who scans the KeyID see?
A lean page with whatever you've set — for example "4 keys, red fob" — and a question: what's this about? Write briefly, send; no ads, no account, no app. You can view the page in the live demo.
Can I see where my keys were found?
Yes: when sending, the finder shares their location with one tap — the spot then appears as an address with a map link right in your notification.
Are there any ongoing costs?
No. The KeyID costs €24.99 once, and the Starter plan stays free forever (incl. WhatsApp). Premium and Family are optional — one plan covers all your IDs. Details in the plan comparison.
Where can I find out more about the KeyID?
On the Everything about the KeyID page: it explains in detail how it works, why it exists and what's inside it — with a live demo.
