How does the code get onto the bike?

Does this replace GPS tracking against theft?
No, it complements it. GPS actively locates against theft (and costs accordingly). The contact function starts with the honest finder — a mix-up, a find, a rental return — and costs cents. Many brands combine both.
Is this a genuine selling point?
