Three stops lie between the stranger by your car and the message on your phone — none of them needs an app.

The ordinary phone camera recognises the QR code and opens a lean web page: what's this about? Four topics, a text field, one button. No download, no account, no hurdle.

The message travels encrypted via servers in Germany and the EU and is passed on to you. The sender never learns who you are or how to reach you directly.

The DriveID is a QR contact point in credit-card format (54 × 86 mm) from SilentLink. It sticks to the inside of your car window and makes you reachable without giving away your phone number: anyone who notices something about your car scans the code and writes to you — the message reaches you in seconds via WhatsApp, SMS or email. A one-off €24.99, no app, Made in Germany.
A note shows your number to everyone — permanently, to strangers too, and it doesn't survive the rain. The DriveID flips that around: the finder reaches you instantly but sees neither your name nor your number. And when you no longer want to be reachable, you pause it with one click — you can't recall a note.
No, on neither side. The finder scans with their ordinary camera and lands on a web page; you get the message via WhatsApp, SMS or email. There's nothing to install and nothing to keep updated.
A lean page with a single question: what's this about? Four topics (e.g. parking issue, lighting, damage), a text field, a send button. If you like, the page also shows your car's make and colour — so the person reporting knows straight away they're at the right vehicle. No ads, no account, no data from you. The DriveID is deliberately small (credit-card format) and sits in a corner on the inside of the glass — what matters is that the driver's field of view stays clear. That's the case in the lower corner of the windscreen or on a side window; that's where toll stickers and emission badges go too.
A one-off €24.99 — in the set of three, one DriveID is completely free. After that the Starter plan is free forever, including WhatsApp notifications. Premium (€19.99/year or €2.49/month) is optional — for SMS, anonymously relayed calls, chat replies, photo attachments and multiple recipients; Family brings Premium to up to five accounts.
